Use page numbers carefully
The page number shown in a PDF viewer is normally one-based: the first page is 1. Separate pages with commas and use a hyphen for an inclusive range. The tool validates that every requested page exists before creating an output.
Verify the extracted file
- Check that the first and last requested pages are present.
- Confirm that the number of output pages matches the request.
- Treat the new PDF as a separate document with its own sharing and retention decision.
