Local-first by design
Every local Tool page on LessInAI computes in your browser. Text, images, PDFs, Office packages, and generated files remain in page memory while they are processed; they are not uploaded, written to a server log, or stored in localStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies. The Office package inspector checks package contents; it does not edit Office documents. Object URLs are released when the page or tool state is cleared. Smart Paste recognition also runs locally and transfers pasted text through a short-lived, one-time memory handoff; browser history contains only an opaque ID, not the raw input.
Google Analytics
This site does not load Google Analytics until you actively enable it from the consent prompt or Privacy settings. When enabled, Analytics measures aggregate page usage and may use cookies or similar identifiers according to Google's policies; it does not receive the text you enter into tools.
Analytics choice
Choose whether Google Analytics may measure page views, basic device information, and aggregate start, completion, and broad error counts for three tools. Tool inputs, file names, result values, and detailed errors are never sent.
Verify it yourself
Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and use an image, PDF, or Office package tool. You will see no request carrying the selected file. The site and some processing resources may still load over the network, but files are not sent to a remote processing service.
External links and future remote capabilities
Reference sections link to external documentation (RFCs, MDN, and similar); those sites have their own privacy policies. If LessInAI later adds a capability that requires contacting a target server (for example a DNS lookup), the page will say so explicitly before any request is made — it will never be triggered silently or described as current tool behavior.
